Coffee

Where does your coffee come from?

We source beans from our favorite coffee hotbeds; Africa, Asia, & Latin America. Some countries we tend to get our beans from include Ethiopia, Guatemala, Honduras, & Indonesia.

What is Caffy and what do the dots mean?

Caffy means the amount of kick from caffeine.

1 = Arabica Decaf

2 = Arabica / Arabica Decaf blend

3 = Arabica

4 = Arabica/Robusta blend

5 = Arabica/Robusta+ blend

How should I store my coffee?

Our bags let the CO₂ out and keep the outside air from getting in. Always store your beans in a cool place out of reach from the sun (but not your fridge or freezer).

How long will my coffee last for?

If you have it in you, enjoy your beans within a few weeks from receiving it. If you can’t swing that, just make sure you store properly and use it all up within 6 months of the date on the bottom of the bag.

Is your coffee fair-trade and organic?

All of our coffees are fair-trade. Most are also certified organic, however, sometimes growers who use organic farming methods don’t pay for organic certification. We still gladly rock their coffee.

Do you sell ground coffee?

Since we think coffee should be brewed within 45min of grinding and it takes longer than that to ship it to you, we don’t sell ground coffee. (Be a pro. Grind as you go.)

Why does my coffee taste bitter?

Your coffee mill’s grind setting is likely too fine. For a good starting point, check your manual (or the manufacturer’s website) for recommended settings for your selected extraction method. From there, make incremental adjustments until you dial it in to the sweet spot.

Why does my coffee taste weak?

Either your coffee mill’s grind setting is too coarse or you might try experimenting with a bigger dose. I know we just met, but trust us… it’s not the coffee.

Do you add other ingredients to your blends?

All of our current blends are 100% coffee with zero additives.

Orders

When will my order arrive?

We roast to order and ship within 4 days of your purchase. You will receive an email with tracking information once UPS has your coffee. Since this means it takes about one week for the good stuff to get to you, we recommend planning ahead to avoid drinking stale coffee in the meantime!

Can I cancel my order?

It may not be too late to cancel a new order. Send your cancellation request to orders@levitycoffeeco.com and, if we haven’t roasted your coffee yet, we’ll gladly cancel your order and refund your payment.

Can I return my coffee?

We can’t accept returns of coffee since it’s perishable, but if there is a problem with your order or you aren’t satisfied with our pride and joy, just contact us at orders@levitycoffeeco.com within 15 days of receiving your coffee and we’ll resolve the issue or provide a refund.

Where do you ship to?

We ship it anywhere you live, as long as that’s in the lower 48 states of the U.S.

If you’re in Alaska, Hawaii, or Canada, join our mailing list and we’ll let you know when it’s time to go.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! Orders over $50 ship for free.
